Peer Review Process
The Journal of Global Research in Electronics and Communications (JGREC) follows a rigorous, transparent, and unbiased peer-review process to ensure high-quality research publications.
1. Submission & Initial Screening
- Authors submit their manuscripts through the online submission system or via email.
- The editorial team performs an initial screening to check for scope, plagiarism, formatting, and basic quality compliance.
- Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements are returned for revision or rejected.
2. Double-Blind Peer Review
- JGREC follows a double-blind peer-review process, where:
- Authors’ identities are hidden from the reviewers.
- Reviewers’ identities are hidden from the authors.
- The manuscript is assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant field.
3. Review & Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the following criteria:
- Originality & Innovation – Novelty of research contribution.
- Technical Soundness – Accuracy and reliability of methodologies.
- Relevance & Impact – Contribution to the field of electronics, communications, and computing.
- Clarity & Structure – Quality of writing and presentation.
- References & Ethical Standards – Proper citation and adherence to research ethics.
4. Decision & Revisions
- Based on reviewers' feedback, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept as is – No further revisions required.
- Minor revisions – Authors must address small corrections.
- Major revisions – Authors must make significant improvements before reconsideration.
- Reject – Manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards.
- Authors are given time to revise and resubmit their manuscripts.
5. Final Acceptance & Publication
- Once the revised manuscript is approved, it goes through final proofreading and formatting.
- The accepted manuscript is published in the upcoming issue of JGREC as an open-access article.
6. Ethical Considerations
- JGREC adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to ensure transparency and integrity in the review process.
- Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and unethical research practices lead to immediate rejection.
